Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara has been an Romanian/German film and television actress for more than a decade. Alexandra is well-known for her the roles she played on Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Born as the only child to Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu Alexandra stepped into the world of show business early, and ended up playing lead roles in different shows on television by the time she turned 16. Her portrayal of Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historical war film) was critically as well as critically acclaimed commercially. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are two other Oscar nominated features featuring models. Alexandra has been involved in numerous notable national and international projects throughout her career. A few of them include the British biographical film Control, the Greek film The Dust of Time, and the French historical miniseries Napoleon. She was also on the jury of the Transylvania International Film Festival, and at Cannes Film Festival.
