Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania and is now an actress from Germany and Romania. Her best-known films include Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was the sole daughter of Romanian acting star Valentin Platareanu Alexandra stepped into the world of show business early, and ended up acting in lead roles on various television dramas by the time she reached the age of 16. Her portrayal of Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historic war film), was critically and highly rated commercially. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are the other Oscar nominated features featuring female stars. Alexandra has been involved in numerous important international and national projects over the years. These include British biographical Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time as well as the French historical mini-series Napoleon among others. She also remained member of the jury at the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
