Aisling Bea
Aisling Bea is one of the most renowned and rich Comedian that was born March 16 1984, in Kildare Ireland. She has appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, more popularly than her stage title Aisling Bea (born on 16 March 1984) is an Irish writer, actress and stand-up comedian. Bea began her stand-up show in 2011after having appeared in small parts on several Irish TV shows as well as British series from 2009. In 2012, she started appearing on a variety of sketches and sitcoms. After winning an award during the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to be booked regularly for different panel shows, where she has become a fixture. She has been a part of 8 Out of 10 Cats since 2016, and she's an extremely popular contestant on the sister show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Parents were Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. She has a younger sister, Sinead. She was only the second ever woman to win So You Think You're Funny. Bea's surname is in honour of her father who passed away. Aisling Claiodhnadhs Sullivan was born on the 16th of March, 1984 from Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian who was an equine vet who committed suicide when Bea turned three was a suicide victim. The news of his suicide only after 13 years old. Bea was her stage name. Bea is a tribute to her father. She was the author of an opinion piece for The Guardian, published in 2017 about her experiences dealing with suicide. Bea's mother Helen She is a jockey-trainer and former pro jockey was in charge of raising her as well as Sinead. Their family was enthralled by race meetings and horses. Bea was a guide at the Irish National Stud in her beginning days. But she was aware it wasn't something she wanted to be for a living and that she was more interested in to perform.
